Kodak Moments, Never to Transpire.

Greetings. Where are all the high quality UFO photographs?

In previous decades, UFO investigators were constantly on the search for physical evidence to corroborate witness testimonials. The late Ted Phillips looked for and examined physical trace cases. The late Dr. J. Allen Hynek attempted to collect tangible proof during the course of his field investigations, including during the latter stages of his association with the United States Air Force's Project Blue Book. Historical UFO researchers from Jim and Coral Lorenzen and Dr. James E. McDonald, to modern-day researchers Kevin D. Randle, James Clarkson, and David Marler have continued the investigative exercises, all in an attempt to find physical, tangible, falsifiable evidence of the UFO problem.

Ray Stanford used to say that he carried a loaded camera with him at all times, which was a logical course of action back in the heady days before the advent of cellular technology. Nowadays, by contrast, literally billions of human beings around the planet (yes, the Earth is not flat) possess a cell phone, complete with video and photographic capabilities. Despite this reality, high quality photographs of unidentified flying objects taken by individuals in separate geographical locations have not surfaced. Why?

From a numbers standpoint, random chance would seem to support the possibility that anomalous activity would at some point be captured by our technology, but that has not transpired, although YouTube and other social media platforms have become bastions of unconfirmed, nonsensical, possibly (likely) hoaxed content and information. The reasons for the lack of quality images and videos are varied, complex, and reflective of our modern society and the manner with which humans conduct their everyday activities.

One possible reason may be that people are far too busy looking down at their phones to notice anomalous activity in the skies above their distracted heads. Perhaps, there is nothing anomalous to capture at all, which is not a popular theory within UFO circles, but a possibility that cannot be discounted out of hand. Another theory holds that unidentified flying objects are somehow able to avoid visual detection, although explaining an unknown with another unknown is reminiscent of the laughable investigative efforts of the U.S. Air Force's Projects Sign, Grudge, and Blue Book. Nobody knows why the influx of modern technology into the hands of the general public has not resulted in a cashe of high quality UFO videos and photographs. Nobody knows.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
