Immorality on Full Display, Courtesy of the UFO Subculture.
Greetings. Dr. Sean Kirkpatrick. The name evokes brutally negative and highly speculative responses, all originating within the confines of the UFO subculture.
Dr. Kirkpatrick's career of public service is long and accomplished, and is not the focus of this particular writing. The rhetoric coming from the UFO subculture is.
The UFO subculture has a penchant for making completely unsubstantiated declarations about people who don't hold popular, or confirming positions. Claims of being a government operative, or a misinformation agent are as common as bird excrement on a windshield, and are just a valuable. The situation has always been a constant in UFO circles, but for some reason that escapes me, the recent attacks on Dr. Kirkpatrick have been especially vicious and personal in nature. As a result of the rhetoric coming from the UFO arena, I have come to a disheartening conclusion; that the UFO ship has sailed, and there is no putting the extraterrestrial genie back in the bottle.
I am in no position to be able to deny that I have harshly criticized some people in the UFO subculture, but none of my commentaries have been personal in nature. Such attacks are uncalled for and unprofessional, however, that has not stopped some well-known figures in the UFO subculture from using slanderous language and declarations against Dr. Kirkpatrick. Evidently some people are very comfortable making horrible comments about people they have never met in person, people who have spouses and children, and people who have simply followed the available information to its logical and scientifically defensible conclusion. Among those people are UFO personality Jeremy Corbell, who declared during the course of the program he co-hosts with George Knapp that, and I quote: "Kirkpatrick is a piece of dog shit." His words, not mine. UFO enthusiast Christopher Wolford declares that, and I quote: "Fuck you Dr. Kirkpatrick." His words, not mine. Are we back in grade school? It looks like it, because adults should know better than to act like children, but I suppose some UFO adults did not get that particular memo.
We, or should I more correctly say, the UFO subculture has arrived at a place where not only critical thinking has been abandoned, but morality too. Making personal attacks that are peppered with foul language has become the norm, joining the previous generations of unsubstantiated claims about alleged connections with the CIA, or other governmental agencies. Don't believe me? Believe your eyes and ears. Steven Greenstreet, of the New York Post, released his latest video concerning the current situation in the UFO subculture just this afternoon, and it is well worth a watch and listen. The link to the program is https://youtu.be/3RUoYqBewC8?si=MHMSL5REuHIugU-s
It looks like the UFO subculture has crossed a moral line it will never be able to recover from. I count my four leafed clovers that I am not a part of the UFO circus, community, or subculture any longer.
I sincerely apologize for posting such foul and disrespectful language in a blog posting, but I feel the situation is deserving of an honest look and assessment.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
